چکیده
We perform a polarization-resolved magnetoluminescence study of excitons in ReS$_2$. observe that two linearly polarized Rydberg series are accompanied by other dark excitons, brightened an in-plane magnetic field. All extrapolate to the same single-electron bandgap, indicating observed originate either from valley or valleys related inversion symmetry, and split exchange interaction. To interpret our observations brightening, we have assume dominant spin-orbit coupling be Ising-like, which hints at approximate symmetry electronic states ReS$_2$ is higher than crystal $C_i$.

Quasi-two-dimensional excitons in finite magnetic fields
We present a theoretical and experimental investigation of the effects of a magnetic field on quasi-twodimensional excitons. We calculate the internal structures and dispersion relations of spatially direct and indirect excitons in single and coupled quantum wells in a magnetic field perpendicular to the well plane. We find a sharp transition from a hydrogenlike exciton to a magnetoexciton with...

Two-dimensional snowflake trap for indirect excitons.
We present experimental proof of principle for two-dimensional electrostatic traps for indirect excitons. A confining trap potential for indirect excitons is created by a snowflake-shaped electrode pattern. We demonstrate collection of indirect excitons from all directions to the trap center and control of the trap potential by voltage.
متن کاملTwo-dimensional electrostatic lattices for indirect excitons
We report on a method for the realization of two-dimensional electrostatic lattices for excitons using patterned interdigitated electrodes. Lattice structure is set by the electrode pattern and depth of the lattice potential is controlled by applied voltages. We demonstrate square, hexagonal, and honeycomb lattices created by this method.VC 2012 American Institute of Physics. [doi:10.1063/1.368...
